Orders and Pricing

How can I get a quotation?

You can request a quotation by:

  • Using the contact details on our website to call, WhatsApp or email us, or
  • Filling in the contact form with your product list and requirements.

To help us respond quickly, please include:

  • Product name(s) and, if known, grade(s)
  • Approximate quantity or monthly usage
  • Delivery location
  • Any specific documentation or packing requirements

Minimum quantities depend on the product and packaging.
Some items are available in smaller packs, while others are only supplied in standard drums or larger units.

If you tell us your approximate usage and storage capacity, we can suggest practical options.

Pricing depends on:

  • Product type and grade
  • Packaging size and format
  • Order volume
  • Delivery location and any special handling requirements

Prices may also be influenced by raw material and transport costs.
We will confirm current pricing in our quotation at the time of your enquiry.

Delivery and Logistics

Which areas does Chemedic deliver to?

Chemedic is based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, and we supply customers throughout Malaysia.
Delivery arrangements may vary based on product type, quantity and destination.
We will clarify feasible delivery options when preparing your quotation.

Delivery lead times depend on:

  • Product availability in our warehouse
  • Whether the item is a stock or indent product
  • Delivery location and scheduling

We will indicate the estimated lead time in our quotation or order confirmation.
If you have an urgent requirement, please let us know and we will advise what is possible.

In some cases, customers with their own logistics arrangements prefer to collect goods directly or use a nominated transporter. This may be possible depending on product type and packing.
Please discuss this with our team when placing your order.

Quality, Documentation and Safety

Does Chemedic provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS)?

Yes. For hazardous products, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are available on request.
We encourage all customers to review the SDS and follow the recommended safety measures as part of their own safety management systems.

For many laboratory reagents and some industrial products, Certificates of Analysis (COA) can be provided, subject to availability from the manufacturer or supplier.

If you require COA, please indicate this when you request a quotation or place an order.

We support product quality by:

  • Working with established manufacturers and trusted suppliers
  • Operating an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system
  • Implementing procedures for incoming goods checks, labelling and storage
  • Maintaining traceability through batch or lot identification

For products where COA is available, this document provides additional batch-specific information.

Each organisation is responsible for its own risk assessments and safety procedures.
However, as general guidance, users should:

  • Refer to the relevant SDS and product labels
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Store chemicals according to their hazard classifications and compatibility
  • Ensure adequate ventilation and spill control provisions
  • Train staff in safe handling, emergency response and waste disposal procedures

If you need an SDS or basic information for a product supplied by Chemedic, please contact us.

Returns and Issues
What should I do if there is a problem with a delivery?

If you notice any issues with a delivery – such as damaged packaging, incorrect items or quantity discrepancies – please contact us as soon as possible, ideally with photos and details of the delivery note.

We will review the situation and discuss appropriate next steps in line with our internal procedures.

Return arrangements depend on the nature of the product, its condition and the circumstances.
Because many chemical products are sensitive and subject to specific handling and storage requirements, returns are generally limited.

If you believe a return is necessary, contact us to discuss the situation.
We will review it on a case-by-case basis, taking into account safety, regulatory and quality considerations.
